Missing Person Squad detectives charged a fourth person as part of the investigation into the suspicious disappearance and death of Lakes Entrance man, Bradley Lyons, earlier this week.

A 25-year-old Lake Tyers Beach man was arrested yesterday and charged on Wednesday night with murder, false imprisonment, kidnapping, aggravated home invasion, and intentionally and recklessly causing serious injury.

He was remanded in custody to face Bairnsdale Magistrates’ Court yesterday morning.

Three men, aged 53, 22 and 21, were arrested earlier this month and charged with murder.

The charges follow an intensive investigation by Missing Persons Squad detectives with support from Bairnsdale Crime Investigation Unit after 30-year-old Mr Lyons was reported missing to police on Tuesday, December 11, 2018.

His remains were located at a remote location at Fairy Dell near Bruthen on March 14.

The investigation remains ongoing.
