The Slip Road Foreshore in Paynesville will be developed to make it an attractive destination for tourists and locals for many years to come.
East Gippsland Shire Council was unanimous in endorsing the project, expected to cost less than $10 million dollars.
The Paynesville Boat Harbour’s north seawall will undergo renovation (south of boat ramp) while a new seawall will be constructed (north boat ramp).
Pathways and boardwalks will lead down to the foreshore and there will be three floating jetties to accommodate berthing for boat brokerage and itinerate berthing.
The existing boat ramp will too undergo renovation while a new boat road will be constructed at the north end of the site.
