Kirsten Van Diggele is a Paynesville homeowner,  who immigrated from the Netherlands, and settled in East Gippsland with her family as a child.

After finishing high school, Kirsten completed her degree in community health and has worked extensively in community engagement and youth development in both Bairnsdale and Melbourne.

She has worked for councils and not-for-profit organisations, as well as being involved in the establishment of numerous youth groups, namely, the East Gippsland Youth Ambassadors and headspace Youth Advisory Committee.

While the youngest candidate contesting the elections, Kirsten is well travelled and keen to make a difference.
