Tim Behan runs the Club Hotel In Orbost after moving to East Gippsland some years ago.

Mr Behan decided to run for a seat on the nine member East Gippsland Shire Council because he believes there is a lack of representation in regional towns.

He says winding back the power of the CEO and giving more say to councillors is essential.

Mr Behan said he’d like to make life simple for residents when dealing with the Shire by digitising processes.
