Dr Jane Greacen was delighted to be announced the sixth elected councillor to the East Gippsland Shire Council following the distribution of preferences which saw her jump up one spot in election order.

As a general practitioner, Cr Greacen says her main focus is prioritising the health of the community and developing clear policy on potentially polluting industries.

Cr Greacen says "engaging more fully with East Gippsland’s Aboriginal community” will also be a priority.
