Cr John White, who was the immediate past Mayor in the previous East Gippsland Shire Council, is thrilled to have been re-elected to Council.

As Mayor, Cr White was instrumental in leading the Council through the bushfires and COVID-19.

He told the Bairnsdale Advertiser that he was pleased with the make-up of the new Council and looks forward to completing unfinished business from his 2016-2020 term.
