Max faces huge test

Max Reeves has been locked into a blockbuster bout at Wildfighter Rnd 6.
The young Bairnsdale prodigy will meet 26-fight UFC veteran, Ross Pearson, in the co-main event behind Blake Wells’ Australasian Light Heavyweight Title fight against Lucas Miller.
While only having one professional boxing bout – a knockout victory – Pearson’s mixed martial arts record of 38 fights for 20 wins, 17 losses and one no contest, shows the huge discrepancy in experience – Reeves has just three pro fights against much lesser known opponents.
Pearson, 37, who is originally from England but is now based in Australia, has fought some of the best fighters currently on the UFC roster, including New Zealand lightweight contender, Dan Hooker, superstar Jorge Masvidal, Edson Barboza, Paul Felder and Al Iaquinta, among other big names.
Pearson remains a part of the MMA community as a coach, working with such talent as up and coming Aussie lightweight, Jamie Mullarky.
