The “Chasing Rainbows” concert celebrated students and community spirit at Lindenow Primary School.
Last week the School held its annual school concert and the theme was all things colour, giving students the chance to showcase what they’ve been working on in their music classes.
The performances ranged from lively movements with ribbons, pom-poms and a couple of beach balls by the youngest students to full class bands from the year 3-6 grades.
The highlight of the night was the whole school coming together for the finale to sing and sign I Am Australian in Auslan, reflecting the school’s commitment to inclusivity.
The concert was also student-led, with dramatic student hosts, school arts captains taking on the important role of backstage crew and even a student Auslan conductor for the finale.
The school is so proud of its students for their efforts and grateful to everyone who helped make the event possible.
The “Chasing Rainbows” concert was a fantastic team effort, and the school is thankful to the community for its ongoing support.
