Wy Yung Football Netball club recently held its best and fairest vote count, with Nathan Dennison and Caitlin Wright taking out the major awards.
Dennison, in his first full senior season with the Tigers after a successful career at Bairnsdale, took out the senior best fairest award with ruckman Brad Daniel runner-up.
While in the “A” grade netball, league best and fairest winner, Wright was the winner with Stevie Alvin runner-up.
Both the senior netball and football sides had good seasons but were defeated in the preliminary final.
Veteran Craig Froud took out the reserves best and fairest after returning to the club this season after a stint at Buchan.
Other winners at the netball were Ash Wheeler (“B” grade), Kirbie Banks (“C” grade), Nakita Hayes (“D” grade), Sienna Anderson (under 17) and Lara Healey (under 15).
The Tigers will hold their presentation night on Friday night at the Wy Yung Pub.
