Pickleball is the new fad in racquet sports and last week Bairnsdale Tennis Club held a come and try day.
The idea of the day was to introduce the fast-growing sport to new local participants and to show off the three new pickleball courts at the club.
Organisers were thrilled with the large crowd of players who turned up to experience this new game that is taking the world by storm.
Players as young as six years old and including ladies in their 80s all participated in this unique and addictive game.
For the month of October, the club will continue to hold free sessions on Thursdays between 10am-noon and 5pm-7pm.
Saturday sessions will be held between 10am-noon.
All equipment will be supplied by the club and everyone is welcome to attend to come along and see what all the noise is about.
