The next meeting of the East Gippsland Photographic Society is tonight, 7pm at The Hub.
The club has the judging of its long exposure competition with Mary Mullane travelling down from Melbourne to critique images.
Judging night is a great way to get ideas on improving photography and getting new ideas of being more creative.
The club welcomes members of the public to head along and see if it is interest to them.
Meetings are held on the fourth Wednesday of the month except December at the Bairnsdale Hub Service Street, Bairnsdale, using the carpark entrance.
The club has had a number of local outings recently.
Last Saturday it was invited to photograph the Bairnsdale rowing regatta and then last Thursday had a morning on Raymond Island in search of orchids and native wildflowers before heading to Bullock Island for some long exposure and ICM, a creative form of photography, followed by fish and chips for lunch and laughs.
