After two long years of not performing due to COVID-19, Rhythm by the River is finally back at the Nicholson Hotel, featuring the East Gippsland Symphonia, on Sunday, October 16, starting at 1pm with free entry.
For this event, Kim Green will be waving the baton and has put together a great selection of music for the afternoon to suit young and old.
Rhythm by the River will also have new talented musicians, and it will be a great opportunity to make them welcome.
East Gippsland Symphonia has been providing music and supporting numerous community events for many years and has also been featured at the popular Opera by the Lakes.
This year will also feature the East Gippsland Youth Jazz Orchestra as part of the afternoon's entertainment.
The group consists of past and current members of the Bairnsdale Secondary College Swing band.
The youth orchestra has performed at many local venues and festivals, including the Merimbula Jazz Festival.
