Election voting open

With the State Election just 10 days away, early birds have turned out in Bairnsdale to cast their vote at the early voting centre on Macleod Street.
Incumbent, National Party member for Gippsland East, Tim Bull, keen to retain his seat, has been a visible presence at the polling centre, as have other candidates eager to knock him off.
Labor candidate, Stephen Richardson, a long-time Swifts Creek resident, has received plenty of assistance pressing his message, from ALP colleagues and supporters.
Seasoned political contender, Ricky Muir, representing the Fishers, Shooters and Farmers, was too maintaining a presence at the Bairnsdale polling station.
Mr Muir said he intends to stick around for several days greeting voters in the lead-up to the election.
