Senior Constable Kirsten Claringbold has policing in her blood.
The latest addition to the Omeo Police Station grew up with parents who were both police officers.
While her father, Anthony Claringbold, has since left the police force, he was active in the Latrobe Valley and Sale for 17 years.
Snr Constable Claringbold’s mother, Ellane Clarke, is still in the force and based in Sale.
“It was something I was always interested in,” Snr Constable Claringbold told the Advertiser last week.
