Locals residents living on the Limestone Road at Benambra have called for it to be fully sealed to prevent dust enveloping their farms.
Sharon Firebrace and Graeme Sinnott live on a sprawling property on Limestone Road, about 20 kilometres from the Benambra township, and have had enough of their farm being enveloped by dust from the road every time a vehicle drives by.
They want the dirt road properly sealed to prevent fine dust settling on their property providing a health hazard to not only their livestock, but themselves.
“In summer the north wind blows the dust straight in,” Mr Sinnott said.
