Lindenow South Glenaladale premiership player, Logan Dunkley, is about to fulfil a life-long ambition, embarking on an overseas cricket adventure.
The classy all-rounder will play with the North Yorkshire-based Whixley Cricket Club for the English summer, hoping to continue his outstanding recent summer season in Australia.
Dunkley impressed again this year with his spinners, highlighted by his 7/18 against Lucknow, while making a significant contribution with the bat in the grand final with a mature and well-compiled 33.
Whixley is looking forward to having Dunkley as part of the fold and he is delighted to be heading to another country to continue his cricket journey.
“Can’t wait to play cricket in another country, it’s always been an ambition and it’s finally happening. I will get to play 18 months of straight cricket,” Dunkley said.
A positive vibe around any team he is associated with
at club or representative level, Dunkley is keen to make
his mark.
“I’m looking forward to bringing plenty of positive energy to Whixley and hopefully I can have a good season with the bat and ball,” he said.
Another Bulls premiership player, Seth Smith, will also play in the Northern Hemisphere over the Australian winter.
