The cricket season may have just concluded and we are now beginning to get serious about local football, but Bairnsdale Cricket Association semi finalist, St Mary’s Nagle, has been active confirming some key appointments for season 2025/26.
The club is delighted to announce that former state cricketer Andrew Perrin is returning to the club in the role of coach.
After some time off last season, Perrin is ready to give back and support the club in any way he can, starting by leading from the front
as coach.
Anyone who knows Perrin knows how competitive he is and the club is confident that his energy and drive will push the senior group towards that ultimate goal, a grand final appearance.
Ricky Tatnell has signed on to captain the club again 2025/26.
Tatnell has been a standout leader over the past few years, guiding the team to back-to-back semi-final appearances and setting the standard with his commitment and determination.
His impact goes far beyond the field, Tatnell is a massive part of what makes the Saints tick, always putting in the hard yards, mentoring younger players, supporting his teammates, and helping build the culture.
Swan Reach player Brendan Gallus will join the club,
who are pleased to have him on board.
His love for the game and team-first attitude will fit right in with the strong culture that is being built at the club.
