AusNet will be in East Gippsland this week undertaking aerial inspections.
The inspection will take place at Tambo Upper, Mossiface, Bruthen, Nicholson, Swan Reach, Glenaladale, Iguana Creek, Glenaladale, Iguana Creek, Golden Beach, Paradise Beach, Lindenow, Lindenow South, Longford, Dutson, Stradbroke, Rosedale, Dargo, Cobbannah, Iguana Creek, Glenaldale, Fernbank, Walpa, Moorna, Mount Taylor, Clifton Creek, Wy Yung and Ellaswood.
Helicopters give Ausnet a bird’s-eye view so it can more easily identify and repair any wear and tear on powerlines and poles.
Each year Ausnet inspects around 40,000 poles. This work is undertaken throughout the year in an effort to keep the AusNet distribution network safe and reliable.
