PODCAST: A forum to try to find ways to solve East Gippsland’s housing crisis was held in Bairnsdale last week.
Hosted by the Gippsland Homelessness Network, the forum provided an opportunity for those working in the sector to workshop with local government officials on how best to address the lack of social housing options.
Network co-ordinator, Chris McNamara, whose role is to advocate for more housing and assistance, says the situation is dire in East Gippsland.
