Inclement weather marred Saturday’s 443rd edition of the Bairnsdale parkrun, with only 19 dedicated runners taking to the picturesque five-kilometre course along the Mitchell River.
Saturday’s event attracted four first-time competitors and was led home by John Theodore in a time of 22 minutes and 42 seconds.
The first female home was Imagen Boardman (26.04), one of the first time competitors.
Riviera Triathlon Club, Running Mums Australia and East Gippsland Runners were all represented.
The run departs every Saturday from 8am.
