The West Bairnsdale Cricket Club under 13s got a welcome surprise when they arrived at training last week.
Melbourne Renegades captain and Australian representative, Sophie Molineux was on hand to give advice and importantly sign plenty of autographs.
A proud product of West Bairnsdale – the club where it all began for her – Molineux took time out of her hectic schedule to chat with the kids and inspire the next generation of young cricketers.
The club and the enthusiastic youngsters were grateful of her efforts and interaction.
