The Bairnsdale parkrun returned in style last Saturday after missing the previous week due to environmental issues.
Despite windy conditions, 124 participants tackled the scenic five-kilometre course, running, jogging, or walking.
Ethan Sanderson led the field home in an impressive 18.26, while former international triathlete Charlotte McShane (19.40) was first female across the line.
The event welcomed 27 first-timers and saw eight personal bests, with runners representing nine different clubs.
Personal bests were recorded by Saxon Buckley (21.32), Clinton Whelan (23.52), George Brady (27.46), Pat Whelan (31.59), Albert Williams (33.04), Vanessa Savige (35.09), Debbie Cupitt (40.27) and Karen Young (54.19).
Clubs represented included Riviera Triathlon Club, The HIIT Factory Bairnsdale, East Gippsland Runners, Caine SMaRTT, Emerald Runners, Traralgon Harriers, and more.
The Bairnsdale parkrun departs at 8am every Saturday and is open to participants of all abilities.
