AFL Gippsland is heading to Bairnsdale for its 2026 Club Development Conferences, bringing practical support and ideas straight to local clubs.
The Bairnsdale session will be held at the Bairnsdale City Oval on Wednesday, March 25, running from 6 pm to 8.30 pm. It is one of four conferences across the region, with other stops in Warragul, Traralgon, and Leongatha.
The evening features three focused streams: Club Development and Executive (practical governance and leadership support), Coach Induction (foundations for new and returning coaches), and Auskick Coordinator and Coach Session (hands-on support for entry-level programs).
Attendees can expect practical workshops, real conversations, dinner provided, and networking opportunities with clubs from across the region. The conference targets volunteers, coaches, Auskick legends, and committee members, giving them the tools to make 2026 smoother, smarter, and more enjoyable.
AFL Gippsland promises no jargon or boring lectures — just practical ideas, real club examples, and actionable advice. Clubs will be encouraged to share the load, set clear expectations, and stay organised to get the most out of the season.
