Bairnsdale Field and Game held its fifth Sunday shoot last week, attracting 63 keen shooters.
The club’s version of English Sporting saw competitors shooting predominantly a range of report and sim pairs.
It was great to see a number of junior shooters showing that the sport is one of the few where juniors can compete with adults on a truly even playing field.
It’s not about strength or age — it’s skill, focus, and consistency.
Winners on the day were Cory Arnup (“AA” grade), Chris Grumley (“A” grade), Mark Kotrlik (“B” grade) and Nathan Scott (“C” grade).
The 50-target event was won by Anthony Velden, with Kotrlik picking up the $100 door prize.
Bairnsdale Field and Game is thankful to all its supporters and sponsor for continually backing the club.
Practice will be held on Friday from 3pm, weather permitting.
