The Paynesville CFA hosted a successful fundraiser fashion show ‘Trash to Treasure’ at the Bairnsdale RSL, with the venue generously donated for the event.
A total of 172 tickets were sold, with 25 models and 10 helpers contributing to the day. The event raised more than $5000, with the final total to be announced on Facebook.
The show featured recycled, reimagined and upcycled clothing made from donated materials including curtains, bags, scrap fabric and ties. Local community members modelled the outfits, showcasing both creativity and sustainability.
Organisers thanked everyone who assisted and donated, as well as the wider community for its strong support.
