Local community groups, sporting clubs and not-for-profit organisations are continuing to benefit from the support of the Community Bank Paynesville, with multiple community grants helping bring important local projects and initiatives to life.
Through its Community Investment Program, the bank has provided more than $1.3M in funding to a range of local organisations dedicated to improving the wellbeing, connection and vibrancy of the region.
From supporting grassroots sporting clubs and community events to helping local volunteer organisations expand their services, the grants are making a meaningful difference across the community.
Branch Manager Jack van Reyk, said supporting local organisations is central to the bank’s commitment to giving back to the community it serves.
“As a community-focused bank, we understand that local clubs and organisations are the heart of our area. They rely heavily on volunteers and community support, and we’re proud to play a part in helping them continue their valuable work,” Mr van Reyk said.
The funding has assisted organisations in purchasing equipment, improving facilities, delivering new programs and creating opportunities for people of all ages to participate in community life.
Recipients have expressed their appreciation for the support, highlighting the positive impact the grants have had on their ability to deliver services and strengthen community connections.
“Our local organisations make an enormous contribution to the social fabric of our community,” Mr van Reyk said.
“By investing in these groups, we’re investing in stronger, more connected communities and helping ensure they continue to thrive for years to come.”
