On Monday, June 24, the Union Lodge of North Gippsland at Bairnsdale donated $2040 to the Riding for the Disabled Association – Bairnsdale Centre at Bairnsdale.
This donation will be used to assist the centre to provide pine bark for the horse stalls and the provision of a wooden gate to provide further help the centre to give instructions to their clients to ride horses at the Bairnsdale centre.
The Riding for the Disabled Association – Bairnsdale Centre has been in existence at Bairnsdale for approximately 25 years.
It has 30 volunteers and uses seven horses for clients to experience the pleasure of being able to ride on a horse.
