Bairnsdale Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s (BCCI) new committee is looking to engage with the business community and will kick things off with a morning get together this Thursday.
BCCI vice president and retail coordinator for Bairnsdale business, Mark Hopley, is inviting all retailers to an early morning muffin break at The Stables Café at 8am as a first step to engaging with the newly elected committee.
Mark said the muffin break is an opportunity for local retailers to say good morning to each other and feed their thoughts to the chamber.
The newly elected chamber committee is asking for business input to help guide its decisions to assist Bairnsdale business in a positive manner.
Main street retailer, Bernie Eastman, will be at the meeting where he will have available a video on USB sticks for digital promotion in store and out, featuring the positive aspects of Bairnsdale.
Mark is hoping to see as many retailers at The Stables as can afford the time so everyone goes away with a common interest.
