Donations keep rolling in at the Lucknow Hall with donated goods on Friday being taken across the road to the Lucknow Recreation Reserve.
Prime Minister, Scott Morrison, dropped in to survey the work of the volunteers and spoke with several, as well as Lyn Wallwork, who lost her family home at Sarsfield.
Just prior to Mr Morrison’s visit, a team from the Mornington Peninsula rolled in with brand new donated goods.
Organiser, Wendy McPhan, said they had brought three utes and trailers worth of gear.
“They’re here for two days, they’re builders and tradies and they just want to help,” Ms McPhan said.
“They said they’ll come back and help with fencing later on.”
In another carload were four young people from Mentone who brought pillows and other goods simply because they wanted to help.
No more clothing is required at the hall, however, water and fuel vouchers are needed.
One ute was also loaded with supplies to take up to Ensay on Friday morning as people pitch in to help those in need.
Volunteer, Christine Zagami, said people were encouraged to keep coming back to the hall over the next few weeks.
