Renae Jones has been competing with distinction for Australia at the ISSF Junior World Championships in Peru.
Jones competed in the women’s trap and mixed trap events at the championships.
The trap events were at the end of a busy nine days of competition, with the world’s best junior shooters chasing world recognition.
In the women’s trap event, Jones shot 92 targets out of a possible 125, to finish in 39th position, with the qualification for the final cutting off at 112.
Jones teamed with Marco Corbo in the mixed teams trap, the duo shooting 112 out of a possible 150 to finish in 21st position, with the finals cutting off being 136.
