Those still deciding on schooling options for next year as well as those looking ahead to 2026, are invited for a ‘cuppa’ and a chat at Gippsland Grammar’s three campuses this October.
Called ‘Tour and Tea’ events, these events offer families the chance for a small group tour of the campuses and classrooms during a normal school day, giving parents and prospective students a first-hand glimpse
into what life at Gippsland Grammar is really like.
Everyone is invited to a Tour and Tea, from those interested in the three and four year-old kindergarten program at the Bairnsdale and St Anne’s ELCs, to those about to transition into secondary school or embark on the VCE years.
The three October events are:
– Wednesday, October 30, 2024: St Anne’s Campus from 9-10.30am (ELC to Year 6)
– Thursday, October 31, 2024: Bairnsdale Campus from 9-10.30am (ELC to Year 6)
Principal Michele Wakeham said the midweek ‘Tour and Tea’ is a popular opportunity for families considering their options.
“The Tour and Tea events are a more casual and personalised approach for locals to further explore the school’s facilities and see our amazing students and teachers in action,” Mrs Wakeham said.
“It’s a unique first-hand perspective on student life during a normal school day so you will witness teaching and learning at its best, and then over a cup of tea or coffee, you can ask any member of our Leadership Team any question you might still have.”
Prospective families are also invited to Gippsland Grammar’s three open days next year on the following dates:
– Saturday, March 29, 2025: St Anne’s Campus from 9-11am
– Saturday, March 29, 2025: Garnsey Campus from 11.30am-1.30pm
– Saturday May 3, 2025: Bairnsdale Campus from 9-11am
Gippsland Grammar is Gippsland’s oldest independent school with a tradition of excellence in education. It is celebrating its centenary this year.
