On Monday, December 2, Bairnsdale Youth Space hosted a celebration day where Darren Chester MP and East Gippsland Shire chief executive officer Fiona Weigall presented participation certificates to 30 local youths.
In collaboration with TAFE Gippsland, Gippsland Youth Spaces facilitated day courses in hospitality, carpentry, mechanics and agriculture, providing youths with the opportunity to explore potential career pathways.
With the support of SWF Group, all participants received necessary PPE gear. In the coming weeks they will also have the chance to complete their White Card certification as part of the Gippsland Youth Spaces program, further enhancing their skills and job prospects.
