Police will prepare a report for the Coroner following the death of an eight-year-old boy in Cobbannah last Saturday.
Emergency services were called to a camp site off Angusvale Track, north of Glenaladale and the Den of Nargun, about 11.50am after reports the boy had been seen in the river around 11.20am but had not been seen since.
A search was conducted and the boy was located deceased in the water about 2.50pm.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
