East Gippsland Historical Society will have its museum open this Sunday, April 13, in conjunction with a second-hand book sale of history books covering the local and wider area of Gippsland.
The book sale will be held in ‘Delvine Hall’ alongside the museum running from 9am to 1pm.
Historians from the society will also be conducting a tour at the Bairnsdale Cemetery in the afternoon at 3pm.
The cemetery tour will take approximately 1-1.5 hours and will meander through the historic sections of the Bairnsdale Cemetery. Cemetery walks contribute to the fundraising for the society’s museum.
