The Nicholson Angling Club held round four of its yearly fishing calendar over the Easter weekend with some impressive catches entered and released.
The event saw 142 bream landed and then
released for the weekend, with the longest bream landed by Ian Wilson
(41 centimetres).
The longest string of five was taken out by the consistent Blair Bryant (172.5 centimetres), while the longest bream caught by a women, was secured by the inform Ruth Beeby
(36.5 centimetre).
Liam Smith (32 centimetres), landed the longest bream on bait, whilst junior winners were Coen Buck-Roberts (under 16) and Xander Whibley (under 12).
The longest other species is always hotly contested, with Darren Dennys the winner with a 59
centimetre flathead.
Secret Length winners were Daniel Hughes, Peter Holding, Raymond Cooper and Charlie Vella.
