Twenty-six members and guests of Paynesville Probus Club enjoyed eight days of travel, sightseeing and hi jinks led by Neil Sach, caravan and cabin tour coordinator.
Starting with a stay at Cann River before proceeding to Eden where Neil welcomed members and guests, the next day the group had coffee at the Rusty Plough, a short walk from the camp.
Eden Sports and Recreation Club was the venue for lunch, with several lucky members having a win in the gaming room.
Happy hour and a 20-cent game was held in the camp kitchen, visitor Doug taking out the prize on his first trip. Member Ken suffered from a sore head, after the chair he sat in collapsed (an unusual way to end up with a sore head after happy hour).
After a couple of days, the group moved onto Reflections Holiday Park in Bermagui, with some members taking the opportunity to visit Candelo, Bega and Cobargo along the way. Others took the coast road.
The happy hour quiz was won by team Bob, Julie and John.
Over the next three days the group lunched at the Bermagui Country Club, attended a whisky and liquor tasting, visited Tilba Tilba Heritage Town with food once again being a highlight.
Another happy hour with quizzes, jokes and games rounded out an enjoyable day.
A farewell dinner at the Bermagui Beach Hotel was attended by all 26 travellers, with some members opting for smaller meals, after the gastronomic delights earlier in the day.
The trip home was varied, with some heading straight for Paynesville, while others opted to stop at Bemm River, before heading home.
All attending enjoyed the experience and friendship and thanked Neil for enabling members to have a safe and enjoyable caravanning experience.
