The East Gippsland Sports Foundation recently made financial donations to three athletes to assist with their quest to the best possible versions of themselves in their chosen sport.
East Gippsland along with Ballarat are one of only two financially stable sports foundations in the state.
The East Gippsland Sports Foundation supports young athletes who are put through an extensive interview process before being deemed suitable candidates.
The three athletes who received support are Jack Bateson, Hudson Tarling and Kaden Hicks.
Bateson was recently crowned the 2025 Skeet National 20G Champion at just 16 years of age.
His next major competition will be in Wagga Wagga in the New South Wales State Skeet Titles.
Tarling is a mountain bike racer who is heading overseas to race for six months
in Spain, Endora and Canada.
Hicks is a javelin thrower who is going overseas to compete in USA where he has already raised $10,000 to compete.
