Mountain Bike East Gippsland members Clint Anderson, Ecco McLeod Kourie and Nico Bouffioux have just wrapped up an incredible three-day weekend in Bright, completing the Professional Mountain Bike Instructors Association course.
From sunrise trail rides to afternoon skills sessions, it was all about diving deep into the fundamentals of mountain biking.
They covered everything from body positioning and braking to cornering and terrain awareness, all with the goal of developing the next generation of shredders.
Participant and club committee member Anderson said it was a great experience.
“Huge thanks to the instructors for their guidance and to the awesome crew who made the experience so much fun. Whether you’re new to the sport or looking to refine your technique, this course is a game-changer,” Anderson said.
He’s keen to get back on the slopes as soon as possible.
“I’m already looking forward to getting back on the trails and sharing what I’ve learned,” Anderson said.
Mountain Bike East Gippsland applied for funding to be able to send club members to the training.
