Redgum Youth will host a three-on-three basketball tournament at the Bairnsdale Aquatic and Recreation Centre (BARC) on July 5 between 10am-2pm.
The non-profit organisations runs free youth events in the community and are keen to get as
many youngsters competing as possible.
The event offers a free sausage sizzle, free waters for young people, free haircuts by local barbers, local DJs spinning tunes all morning and a buzzing community feel in the BARC.
Teams will be graded into two groups, junior high (years seven to nine) and senior high (years 10 to 12).
Match rules for the half court matches, see one point awarded inside the arc and two points outside the arc.
Matches will be played over six minute halves, with the first team to 13 points the winner.
Player ages are from 11-18 only.
