The Eagle Point Community Hall turns 100 years old in 2030.
The upcoming market at the hall on August 30 has all proceeds going toward improvements and upkeep of the hall.
This hall is one of a few community-owned halls in Victoria, so organisers welcome interest and support in helping to maintain and ensure a continued contribution to the community.
“We would like to thank our supporters and sponsors over the past nine months,” organisers of the market said.
“This includes the East Gippsland Shire Council, Paynesville Opportunity Shop (grant for new tables), Mitchell River Rotary (supplied the barbecue), and also Todd Plumbing for supplying new toilets, hand basins and mirrors.
“To all our stallholders that attend our markets, thank you.
“And also to those who hire our facilities on a weekly/fortnightly/monthly basis. Thank you.”
