Paynesville Probus Club members had a cracking visit to the Stockyard on Raymond Island in more ways than one.
The entertainment included whip cracking, sheep dog trials, general horsemanship, bush stories and
country music, together with a cracking morning tea.
Members spent a morning being entertained at the hidden gem, known as the Stockyard, thanks to Wayne and Maria Hanrahan’s warm hospitality (certainly not the famous “we’ll all be ruined said Hanrahan”) and Wayne Hinchcliffe for his stories about his time with the late Tommy Woodcock, horse trainer and handler of the famous Phar Lap.
Everyone agreed it was a great morning’s entertainment.
Probus members thanked Steve Brown for organising the outing.
