Bairnsdale Field and Game held its October shoot last Sunday, attracting a quality field 88 competitors, including some new faces.
In the 75 target event the winners were Jason Corbett (division one), Corey Arnup (division two), Rob Marshall (division three), Zaeln Lynch (division four), David Needham (division five), Chris Cooper (division six), Gemma Scionti (division seven), Caleb Grizic (division eight) and Paul Bishop (division nine).
Duncan Ross was an impressive winner in the 50-target, outpointing Richard Hughes and Chris Young.
The club was again thankful of the support of those who made the effort to travel significant distances to make it to the shoot and the outstanding volunteers, who make their time available to set up and run the shoots, maintain the ground, run Friday practice and are the lifeblood of the club.
Practice is held every Friday from 3pm weather permitting, with a working bee being held next weekend (both Saturday and Sunday).
The next shoot will be on November 9.
