Retired members of Victoria Police gathered at the Nicholson Hotel on Tuesday, November 4, for a special luncheon organised by Natalie O’Connor from Bairnsdale Police Station and retired Sergeant Peter Petrovich.
Attendees from Bairnsdale and surrounding areas enjoyed the opportunity to reconnect and share memories from their time in service. The luncheon also saw a strong turnout from police legate representatives.
Inspector Rossiter addressed the group, followed by Acting Sergeant Prad Pai, who spoke about his journey from India to joining Victoria Police.
East Gippsland Shire mayor, Cr John White, also attended and expressed his appreciation for the dedication and ongoing community support shown by retired police members.
