Car club in Lindenow

On Friday, November 14, Bairnsdale Classic Car Club met at VicRoads car park and drove to the Lindenow Long Paddock café.

They were treated to very nice coffee and cakes as well as a talk from Jody O’Brien, of Bulmer’s farms.

Jody was informative and explained the itinerant staff that came from Asian countries and the difference they made to their communities with the money they made here at Lindenow.

Club president Valerie Curtis thanked Jody and gave her a bunch of flowers alongside Bob Smith, the organiser of the event.

Some of the members followed Max Curtis to Wy Yung to Iris Stoneman’s iris and rose farm. The members walked among the roses and were astounded by the different flowers Laurita had. Valerie Curtis thanked Laurita for opening up the gardens for club members. (PS)
