Golf East Gippsland (GEG) held its annual general meeting last Sunday at the Sale Golf Club, with the highlight being the presentation of life member to Chris Munday.
In the 91-year history of GEG, there has only been three previous life memberships awarded, Marion Dwyer, Jenny Russell and Chris Shanahan.
Munday has held positions of president, secretary, delegate and captain with the East Gippsland Women’s Golf Association and women’s captain with GEG.
Her commitment to golf has been outstanding and she continues to put in many hours of work to ensure the betterment of golf in the region.
