Last Friday, the Bairnsdale Motor Expo held its final car show for the season at Howitt Park, impressing spectators with an array of vehicles and lively displays.
Allan Potter stole the spotlight when he started up his massive “Mad Max” truck, sending flames from the exhaust pipes and drawing a crowd.
The event featured more than 45 cars
and 15 bikes, showcasing a remarkable
variety of vehicles.
Cheryl Thomas took out the best tattoo display, receiving a voucher from the Nicholson Store.
Proceeds from the Expo went to the Bairnsdale Regional Health Service’s new Oncology Unit.
Jennifer Tissin accepted the donation and thanked everyone who purchased raffle tickets to support the project.
Club members were kept busy cooking and serving sausages and cold drinks, while Anywhere Espresso kept visitors caffeinated
with their popular coffee.
Raffle prizes were generously supplied by local Bairnsdale businesses, whose support the car club greatly appreciated.
