The Bairnsdale Motor Expo held a cruise night on Friday, October 11, at the Bunnings car park.
It started off windy and cool and then the evening went still and cars rolled in.
About 55 cars arrived for the display. Trix Coffee was running hot as was the barbecue run by the club. The variety of cars and motorbikes on display was amazing.
The money raised went to Annies Cottage, who have a house to use for family respite for children with terminal lllnessess.
The next motor expo cruise night will be held on November 9, for Remembrance Day, with a display of army vehicles and all sorts of cars.Peter Petrovich presenting the trophy to Alex Scarth for the champion Hot Wheels racer. He bought the car as is as it was made the same year his father was born and the model A was his father’s name of Allan. (PS)Grover Hurle presented the trophy for the peoples’ choice to Caleb Ellett for his lovely 1966 Mini Cooper S. The trophy for the most original car went to John Padgett for his Pontiac. (PS)
