The Australian Showcase Jewellery Awards 2024 were held in Sydney recently, with one local jeweller picking up multiple awards.
Ari Fleming, of Jeremy Fleming Jewellers, picked up the Handmade Design award and the Members Choice Award.
The win also makes Ari the youngest ever to win multiple showcase awards in the same year
The piece that won him the award was a platinum and 18ct yellow gold ring with a natural marquise-cut Burmese ruby, with an assortment of 52 brilliant cut diamonds.
The ring was made for one of Ari’s sisters for her birthday.
As a result of the win Ari has been invited to the International Jewellery Award in Hong Kong next year, where only the best 150 jewellers in the world are invited to the prestigious invite only awards.
Jeremy Fleming Jewellers also won the retailer of the year for jewellery – a first-time win for the business.
Jeremy Fleming Jewellers opened its first shop in Sale in October 1993 with only two staff, and it didn’t take long for the business to take off, opening another shop in Traralgon in 2006 and then in Bairnsdale last year.
