All eyes will be on the Bairnsdale Aquatic and Recreation Centre this Saturday night for the local Gippsland Country Basketball League derby between the Bairnsdale Bullets and the Lakes Entrance Pelicans.
The Country Basketball League clash will kick off at 5pm, with the winner set to be crowned East Gippsland number one side.
Both sides have had a week off to refocus and get ready for the final three rounds of the competition.
The Pelicans have been victorious on two occasions and currently sit seventh on the ladder, whilst the Bullets sit in 11th after scoring one win.
The game may be decided by the side that finds its range first, will both sides more than capable of playing good defence but struggling to put the ball in the hoop.
The Pelicans might have a slight edge on experience, but the Bullets have some outstanding juniors, who are crying out for a big stage like Saturday night to show what they have to offer.
