The New Year’s Eve Paynesville foreshore community was again entertained by community-spirited couple, Ruth and Bernie Ryan, who organised music on the now iconic Floating Tin Shed.
Bernie is pictured front and centre skippering the Tin Shed towards the front beach at Paynesville for the fireworks and his musical entertainment.
This year’s music makers on board were the Damon Smith Trio of Melbourne based at Coburg.
The professional group’s music proved popular with the New Year’s Eve crowd playing New Orleans jazz, blues and rock’n roll.
Damon said the hospitality at Paynesville was wonderful and whatever happens, they have booked to come back next year. Bernie also mentioned former local musician and X Factor runner-up, Andrew Wishart, will soon feature on the Tin Shed.
